Baltimore Area Council’s new Scout Shop reunites retail, resources, and community under one roof at the Schapiro Scout Service Center, strengthening support for families and youth programs across the region.

Arium AE is proud to partner with the Baltimore Area Council – Scouting America and North Point Builders on the transformation of the west wing of the Schapiro Scout Service Center into the new Baltimore Scout Shop. After nearly two decades located across the street in the historic Stieff Silver building, the Scout Shop is returning home to the Service Center. Our team provided architectural and engineering design services, including permitting, to create a modern, functional retail environment that reflects the spirit of Scouting and enhances the overall Service Center campus.

This project represents more than a renovation — it’s the creation of a full-service hub for the Scouting community. By bringing the Scout Shop back under the same roof as the Council offices, families, leaders, and scouts will benefit from a more convenient, centralized experience. We are honored to support the Council’s mission of empowering youth and fostering leadership, and we look forward to seeing this new space become a vibrant resource for the Scouting family across Baltimore and beyond.
