This Class A office renovation in Maryland included strategic upgrades to both tenant spaces and shared building core elements, including a refreshed lobby and elevator experience, state-of-the-art training spaces, amenity-focused meeting areas, and modernized break areas. The design approach prioritized functional efficiency and refined aesthetics, delivering best-in-class workplace environments that seamlessly integrate with existing infrastructure.
The modernized office design was developed in close coordination with the client’s IT and security teams, corporate branding standards, and furniture vendor. Integrated acoustical solutions, wayfinding, and signage were thoughtfully incorporated to enhance performance, clarity, and user experience throughout the space.
Our design strategy emphasized open, collaborative workspaces with contemporary finishes, creating a welcoming, hospitality-inspired atmosphere that supports flexibility and innovation. A signature break area was designed as a social hub, featuring comfortable lounge-style seating and curated finishes to encourage connection and informal collaboration.
To address acoustical performance within open work areas, the design incorporated acoustic spray at exposed slab ceilings, complemented by acoustically absorptive statement ceiling elements and integrated lighting. This layered approach balanced sound control with a clean, modern aesthetic aligned with Class A office standards.
