A common directive we hear from clients during the design development phase is that they need electrical receptacles laid out in the space as required by code. It might be a surprise for some to hear that the National Electrical Code does not include specific outlet layout or minimum quantity requirements for receptacles in non-residential spaces.
With the introduction of the 2017 NEC, that is about to change.

Recently, Arium helped design Supreme Core Cider’s Taproom; Washington D.C.’s second Cidery production facility and tasting room.

Arium is now Green Globes certified and is actively providing consulting services on projects. Green Globes is a nationally recognized green rating assessment, guidance, and certification program similar to LEED.
We’re partnering with Sherwin-Williams for National Painting Week, May 19-29, 2017. In exchange for donating the color from our Arium AE website, Sherwin-Williams is pledging 5,000 SF worth of paint to bring color to communities across the country.

Over 12,000 people attended this year’s Craft Brewers Conference, and we still managed to bump into a few of our current clients. We also conducted an impromptu introduction meeting with a potential new client right on the expo floor. We’re hopeful we’ll be able to add them to our growing list of regional breweries.
It’s finally here! America’s Largest Craft Brewing Industry Gathering is happening now in Washington DC. We’ll be onsite April 11th checking out the great new products and looking for our next brewing client.
The design of the space encourages a deep connection to the authenticity of the craft through a uniquely branded and personal tap room experience.
Arium provided full AE design services to transform a vacant warehouse into one of Columbia’s newest craft breweries, Hysteria Brewing Company. Through close coordination with the local permit review officials, Arium was able to design a fully and completely open taproom/brewery customer experience.
Arium’s design studio transformed the dated premanufactured metal building into a showroom/garage suitable for selling/maintaining luxury vehicles.
Arium AE is pleased to announce that construction is underway for the exterior and interior renovations for the new home of Exclusive Motorcars. After 50+ years in use as Charlie’s RV and Camping Center, this 2 story structure is undergoing a complete renovation.
