Her approach to design is to listen to her client’s needs and then incorporate that vision into a cohesive design scheme. She especially enjoys the challenge that adaptive reuse brings, such as transforming an empty office or warehouse into a school or renovating an abandoned big-box retail building into a new multi-tenanted town center.

Out of the office, Stephanie balances a busy family life with her husband and three children, who are actively involved in school and sports. And while Pittsburgh will always be her “hometown,” living in Maryland is a return to her family’s roots.
