Brian Frels

As an expert in building information modeling (BIM) and a staunch advocate for integrated design, Brian was a strategic hire for Arium in 2012.

With more than eight years experience, Brian has focused his career on specialized, program-driven design in commercial office, corporate headquarters, retail, mission critical, SCIF, higher education, and process-oriented facilities. Brian has a particular interest in seeking and understanding the client’s visionary workflow methodologies and their evolving workplace environment.

In 2009 he led an award winning team in a global ideas competition focusing on the future of the knowledge-driven workplace and spearheaded the implementation of Enterprise 2.0 technologies within a worldwide AE firm.

Texan by birth but Marylander by choice, Brian is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys exploring the nearby woods and streams every chance he gets.
