Our shell building studio partnered with The Howard Hughes Corporation to undertake a new construction project in the Merriweather District of Columbia.

The project involved the development of a gourmet toast and juice bar housed within a 360-degree retail kiosk situated prominently in the Color Burst Park in the Merriweather District in Columbia, Maryland. To ensure seamless integration with the surroundings, the project required careful coordination with the existing context, including an underground utility vault.

The building has been designed to achieve LEED Gold certification, indicating its strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. This is a significant achievement for the project, as it sets the bar high for other developments in the area. The building provides a great view of all the activities in the park, with its new patio providing a perfect spot to enjoy refreshments while soaking in the sights and sounds of the surroundings.
