Arium AE has designed multiple projects for The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, including four locations for Potomac Valley Orthopeadic Associates in Columbia & Rockville, Maryland, and one for Bay Area Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Hanover, Maryland.
The Columbia Old Dobbin Lane location underwent an extensive interior renovation to create a state-of-the-art physical therapy and medical office facility. The renovation involved merging two former office suites into one larger suite, spanning over 9,000 SF. The new facility is designed to provide patients with a welcoming and comfortable environment with all the necessary amenities for comprehensive medical care.
The facility now boasts cutting-edge features, including a gym, medical office space, examination rooms, and X-ray capabilities. Patients are greeted by an inviting reception area, complete with comfortable seating. The examination rooms are spacious and well-lit, featuring the latest medical equipment and technology to ensure patients receive top-quality care. Two new procedure rooms are equipped with lead-lined partitions, doors, and windows to allow for X-ray accommodation.
The open gym area, where physical therapy takes place, is designed to be both functional and visually appealing. It features a mix of painted metal deck ceilings, floating acoustic cloud ceilings, and exposed ductwork, creating a modern and industrial aesthetic. The gym is equipped with the latest exercise equipment and technology, allowing patients to receive the best possible care from skilled physical therapists.
