Arium utilized the constraints of the existing space to design a guest experience that directs attention to a transaction counter and hints of a fun time just around the corner.Activity centers like trampoline parks, indoor play areas, and ninja courses have exploded in popularity recently and are popping up across the country. Arium has several years of experience working with a number of companies opening these highly profitable facilities across Maryland and Virginia.

Hamilton Bank’s new prototype branch transforms the banking experience.Founded in 1915, Hamilton Bank is a community bank serving the Greater Baltimore area, with headquarters in Towson, MD. Hamilton was looking to relocate their Ellicott City branch and make some significant improvements to their customer experience. They turned to Arium AE to assist them with the design of a new prototype bank branch that would transform the way customers interact with the bank.

Arium AE transformed an existing prefabricated metal building into a luxury used vehicle showroom and service facility.After over 50 years in use as an RV and Camping Center, this two story structure went under a complete exterior and interior transformation. The new home of ExclusiveMotorcars features a beautiful new vehicle showroom and sales floor, office space upstairs, and garage service bays for photography, washing and repair.

Arium AE began working with Music and Arts representatives from the onset of the project to assist with the conceptualization of a collaborative space that met today’s modern office standards but could also accommodate Music and Arts’ technical studio requirements.

Graphic representation of new 2017 NEC 210.71 “Meeting Room” requirementsA common directive we hear from clients during the design development phase is that they need electrical receptacles laid out in the space as required by code. It might be a surprise for some to hear that the National Electrical Code does not include specific outlet layout or minimum quantity requirements for receptacles in non-residential spaces.
With the introduction of the 2017 NEC, that is about to change.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy; As the sunset lingers on the doors, and brilliant minds get to rest.Since 2009, Arium AE and Chesapeake Lighthouse Foundation (CLF) have worked together to take existing vacant flex warehouse/office buildings and convert them to exciting, vibrant schools for Kindergarten through twelfth grade.

The exterior of the future Supreme Core Cider’s Taproom located near the US National Arboretum.Arium has enjoyed helping numerous start-up breweries in the past couple years throughout the Baltimore-Washington metro area. Establishments like Manor Hill Brewery, Oliver Brewing Company, Hysteria Brewing Company, and Capitol Cider House to name a few. Recently, Arium helped design Supreme Core Cider’s Taproom; Washington D.C.’s second Cidery production facility and tasting room.
